Independence
AromaGo sells nothing. We don't accept payment, free products or sponsorship in exchange for coverage, we don't recommend specific brands, and we don't use affiliate links. If that ever changes, we will disclose it clearly on every affected page.
Sources
- We prefer primary and official sources: government health agencies (such as NCCIH and the National Cancer Institute), regulators (such as the FDA and USDA), poison-control organizations and peer-reviewed research.
- For practical safety guidance such as dilution levels, we reflect widely used aromatherapy safety practice and say when figures are approximate.
- We link to sources so you can check them, and we only link to organizations we have confirmed exist and are relevant.
Health claims
Essential oils are a health-adjacent topic, so we're careful. We don't claim that any oil treats, cures or prevents a disease. When research is limited or mixed, we say so plainly. We always point readers with health concerns, and those who are pregnant, have medical conditions, take medication or are caring for children or pets, to a qualified professional.
No invented details
We don't publish fake reviews, testimonials, credentials, statistics, prices or product rankings. Guides are credited to the AromaGo editorial team rather than to invented personas.

Photographs are royalty-free stock images from Unsplash, used for illustration. They don't depict any product we endorse.
Reviews and corrections
Each guide shows when it was last reviewed. We revisit guides periodically and when guidance changes. If we find an error, we correct it promptly and note significant changes on the page.
